You are free to move them after its installation. For those who already use DarkLoader, please make sure that all main missions files are located in the root game directory before using this patch. You will find this tool on the official website.
If the directory is empty or does not exist, you will need to optimize your files by using DarkLoader. *All game resources must be placed in a RES subdirectory (by default: ’C:\Program Files\Thief Gold\RES’). Non-Gold version: Not compatible! Please visit the ConstanceJill’s website to download the appropriate patch. Retail (CD) version: DarkLoader* has to be first installed and configured! Please note that Thief Gold has never been released in French! This patch is designed to install all officially translated files from the non-Gold version (texts, dialogues, movies) as well as other Gold resources translated by our team.
